Private Yoga Sessions
Personalized Yoga — One-to-One Practice
Private yoga sessions offer a personalized practice designed around your individual needs, goals, and movement patterns. In these one-to-one sessions, we explore posture (Āsana) alignment, breathwork (Prāṇāyāma), and mindful movement at a pace that supports your body and your learning style. Hands-on assists, verbal cueing, and detailed alignment guidance help you feel safe, supported, and confident in each shape.
Together, we workshop foundational postures, refine transitions, and explore modifications or progressions that suit your unique anatomy. Whether you are building strength, increasing mobility, recovering from injury, or deepening your understanding of yoga, private sessions create space for focused attention and meaningful growth.
These sessions are open to all levels and all body types. Props, variations, and supportive techniques are used to help you feel stable and comfortable. You are encouraged to take personal responsibility for your safety and needs, honoring your practice in the way that suits you.
Kunga Yoga is a service-oriented, non-lineage style of yoga for all people of all backgrounds, shapes, sizes, and abilities. “Kunga” is a Rwandan word meaning “to help or to serve.” Private sessions embody this spirit through individualized care, compassionate guidance, and a practice shaped just for you.
Duet Yoga — Paired Practice
Duet sessions offer a shared private experience for two students who want to practice together while still receiving individualized attention. These sessions blend personalized alignment work with the supportive energy of practicing alongside a partner, friend, or family member. Whether you are building strength, increasing mobility, recovering from injury, or deepening your understanding of yoga, duet sessions create space for meaningful growth alongside a partner.
