2. Scope of Services

Studio Sun & Sea provides yoga instruction, wellness education, and related services both in person and online. All services are intended for general wellness and educational purposes.

Studio Sun & Sea does not provide medical, therapeutic, or clinical services.

3. Eligibility

Participants must be at least 18 years old or have written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

4. Health and Medical Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically and medically fit to participate in yoga or wellness activities. You should consult a physician before beginning any new exercise program.

By participating, you represent that you have no medical condition that would prevent safe participation.

5. Assumption of Risk

Yoga and physical movement involve inherent risks, including strain, imbalance, falls, and aggravation of existing conditions. By participating in any service, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Studio Sun & Sea and its owner are not liable for injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation in classes, workshops, online sessions, or use of information provided.

This limitation applies to both in‑person and online services and to participants located in the EU, the United States, and internationally.

7. Online Class Safety

For online sessions, you are responsible for ensuring a safe practice environment, including adequate space, removal of hazards, and stable equipment. Studio Sun & Sea cannot monitor your environment and is not responsible for injuries occurring during online practice.

8. Payment, Booking, and Cancellation

Prices, booking conditions, and cancellation policies are displayed at the time of purchase or registration. EU consumers retain statutory withdrawal rights where applicable under EU law.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, including videos, written materials, graphics, and class recordings, is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share content without prior written permission.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy. By using the services, you consent to the processing of your data as described therein.

EU data subjects retain all rights under the GDPR.

Studio Sun & Sea is insured through Markel Insurance SE via Exali AG.

Territorial Scope

The insurance provides coverage for insured activities worldwide, subject to the terms and exclusions of the policy. Only the German‑language policy is legally binding.

12. Governing Law

For EU‑based participants, these Terms are governed by the laws of Germany.

For U.S.‑based participants, these Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the participant resides, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Dispute Resolution

EU consumers may use the Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/

Studio Sun & Sea is not obligated or willing to participate in consumer arbitration.

14. Release and Waiver of Liability

Participation in services may require acceptance of the Release and Waiver of Liability. The waiver supplements these Terms and remains valid for all services provided.

15. Changes to These Terms

Studio Sun & Sea may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of booking or participation applies.
